It's cherry blossom season in DC! The peak bloom period is April 1-4 so if you can, get out to the Tidal Basin to see them. They are stunning. The cherry blossoms represent the first sign of spring and I know that we are all ready for the warmer weather that it brings.

If you are having a pink and white wedding in late March/early April, there is no prettier bloom (in my opinion) to incorporate than cherry blossoms. Check out these gorgeous arrangements from one of my favorite florists, Jack Lucky. http://www.jackluckyfloraldesign.com/ The way that he incorporates the cherry blossoms is stunning.

I love these invitations from Chantal Claire http://www.chantalclaire.com/. They are so bright, modern and fun!

You can get really creative with favors. I love these tea favors and little mint tins from http://www.favorideas.com/.

I also love these mini candy jars and cherry blossom candles from http://www.favorideas.com/. And, to top it all off, they are really affordable!
